I think this statement is true for radical Christians who are mostly in it for their own fanatical reasons. According to the bible "everyone" is judged in the end so dooming someone based purely on the assumption that they're a heretic because they don't believe in God is a silly view point. I actually think the whole "dooming" business is even pointless. Why bother what God has in plan for someone else rather than consider what he has in store for you personally?
