People can do the religion thing all they want. They just need to stop assuming that they are morally superior to those who don't believe. If the bible/koran and its proponents would knock it off with that, i'd be happy.
Secondly, I just think it's bullshit. Why would the creator of all things go into detail about dietary laws and all kinds of other stuff but not tell us slavery is bad? Childishness is a little strong, but it's no coincidence they push the eternal damnation thing on kids at an early age.

Go ahead and be as christian as you want. You might wanna turn the other cheek once in awhile.....

Thanks grammar nazi but the pot calling the kettle black is just kind of silly isn't it? Atheists are always the first to put down anyone elses beliefs. The creator of all things, if there is such a being, didn't go into dietary laws. The bible / koran, was written by men they went into dietary laws not God. Again I'm not surprised you don't know the difference.

and turning the other cheek doesn't mean what you think it does. It simply saying if you want to hit me, hit me like an equal not like a servant. In other words the difference between a palm handed slap and a back handed slap is what cheek it lands on.
