It is self-destructive ("stop snitchin'!"), backwards looking ("reparations!"), overly dependant ("cutting food stamps is racist!") and has distorted perceptions about unfairness ("that Cambridge cop is a racist!"). Whites/racism are not responsible for blacks' problems in 2009. Just look at how successful first generation African and Asian immigrants are able to be in this country. Their work ethic and attitude makes the difference. If someone like Al Sharpton heard me say all this, he'd call me a racist and say that I just don't get it.
