I got the MRSA in surgery to begin with about 6 years ago. I have a bone disease called Albers-Schonberg or marble bone disease and had broken my femur. It makes my bones weak and my immune system sucks because I have less bone marrow than normal folks. When they put a rod in my leg it took 3 years and several surgeries to heal and I got the damned infection during one of the surgeries apparently.
