Nope, there are only certain states that will accept another state's CHLs as valid, and usually only the neighboring states. For instance, my permit is good from TX to FL, and in OK, AR, and GA, but not in TN or KY.

And if she moves to Chicago, her permit will be immediately invalid, and she'll have to register all of her guns with the local PD and buy a license to get a gun. Chicago's more restrictive than California.

Hmmmmmmm, it hasn't helped this calendar year's murder rate in Chicago. However, gun registration is only for good people, it's like locks on a door, that's just to keep good people out. Bad guys will just kick it in.
