Todays KUSH is nothing compared to the 70s version. The probem back then was that they would often lace the stuff with LSD or some other form of acid which gave it a whole new effect.They used a lot of blotter both green and purple( purple haze) back then

I have not had the chance to sample all of the great California strains that the sell in the stores.But you have to remember back then a Oz was like $50 for the very best stuff. Jamacaian Blue was expensive though. That shit was sticky as hell.

You guys would know better, maybe it's cause IM old, but it just seems that the stuff back then was better. There was so much of it that it was every where.

Better is a relative term....back in the 70s most of the weed was sativa and the high is different. Today commercial growers use indica or indica/sativa hybrids. Indica varieties are more cost effective since you get larger yields with shorter maturation times. Sativa varieties give an upbeat trippy high, usually more giggly, while indica is more mellow, laid back high.
