I think it was for the Expo in Vancouver[early 80.s],,All weed supplys dried up.. Canada was more or less weedless...Which was totally unaceptable...

Thus forcing the hand of the boys in B.C....This was the start of hydroponic era and the growing of commercial hi-grade bud indoors ....And they have never looked back...And Canada can now say with out a doubt that they grow the best bud on the planet..
