I really can't think of a valid excuse for hiding behind an alt, least of all to build a case to de-mod a person.
Are you not from the US? Do you not believe in a person facing his/her accuser?
I've had plenty of little wars and disagreements with people on XPT. Some of the people I like/liked/came to like. Others ... not so much.
But, I never resorted to an alt to attack them or defend myself.
If you want to be taken seriously, come out from behind the curtain. XPT members DESERVE that much respect.
While many are suspected of using alt's, and deny their use, they are only free to do so until caught. I'm not sure of the exact board policy, but confessing to being some long time poster's alt might have unwanted consequences for your character.

So what if the mention of XPT on Stern got Redgoat the position? Are you angling for the position? Were you de-mod-ed yourself?
Who exactly cares who is a mod on a board were almost no thread is locked, where very few are deleted, where almost no member is suspended or banned without reason/warning and where so few posts are ever altered?
On XPT, if we don't notice you're modship, you're doing a great job.
