If the club really is a private club, I support their decision to exclude anybody they want.
If I got together with a few friends and decided to build a private golf course, or a pool, or a gym, or a social club, I wouldn't want anybody telling me who could or couldn't be a part of it.

They paid the fee and had every right to be there. Unless you want this to turn into Nazi Germany. The only ones changing the atmosphere of that club are the racist, white, pill-popping housewives.

Invoking Nazi Germany is the last refuge of somebody who has no intellectual argument and must throw themselves on the purely emotional. Either come up with a real intellectual argument or ask somebody else to discuss the topic with you.
They offered to give the fee back, that seems fitting. They have NO right to be at any private club. It is a tempest in a teapot.
Why do you think that "racist, pill popping housewives" are changing the atmosphere of the club, have you been there? It sounds as if that was exactly the atmosphere of the club before the kids got there, whether you like it or not matters not at all. Besides, you really don't know anything at all about the atmosphere of the club, do you?

I feel bad for the kids, and the camp they attend should sue the club for any extra they have to pay to get in a different pool this late in the season. In Philly, with a jury, the blacks will win.

They took the groups'money, and then saw the kids were black, and decided: "Woooah,...we don't want YOUR kind here; take your money back, and now go somewhere else".
Or did I miss something??

Spend a short amount of time with a group of blacks from Philly and you'll understand why they were refunded their money. The only thing worse would be blacks from Camden, NJ.

Nobody's arguing that this isn't a private club and they can do whatever they want (and they did refund the money) It's the fact they are racist assholes. And It's really hard to believe they'd actually want this kind of publicity.
Apparently they want the publicity more than they wanted to let the little niglets into the pool.

The owner of the private swimming pool sold memberships fr money to people who were willing to pay more to avoid the crowding at public pools. Key points: these members don't have to pay to use a pool - the public pools are open - and they expect something a lot less crowded in return for their money.
The pool owner decided to make a little extra money by selling one-day access to various kid's camps. Problem is, when the buses pull up that pool fills and looks as crowded as any public pool. That's not what the members are paying their annual dues for, and they let the pool owner know about it.
The pool owner knows that people paying annual dues are where the money is, not a few visits from camps, so the camp visits have to stop. Only he doesn't try to fulfill existing obligations & appease dues-paying members, but rather he kicks the camps out *right now* and offers the worst possible reason for it.
Now not only has he made his paying customers unhappy by crowding his pool, removing the only reason anyone has to use a private pool in the first place, but he's also placed the "Racist" tag on any member. In the current economy I bet a lot members think "I don't want the crowding, I don't want my friends thinking I associate with racists, and I don't need this monthly expense."

But, you kinda gotta look at the reality there. Off the cuff, before giving it any 'spin' thought, the president of the club said he didn't want to change the 'complexion and atmosphere' of the club. That was unfiltered reality because that was what he felt, just like the one kid heard someone say 'holy shit whats with all these black kids.' Let me tell you what, if it had been a group of white kids I'm sure it would have been different, even if they were loud and annoying like kids tend to be. There new stance that it was because of crowding, capacity, safety is revisionist bullshit because there original racist reason got media attention. What's worse is that the club members who probably aren't generally racist, got fucked in the ass by the club management, so it's a double fuck you to them. And even if they really only wanted the policy change due to the crowding, the fact that their club president gave the God awful complexion reason in the first place means that as members they need to own up and demand that guy's resignation, if it's even possible.
