What is your beef with AIM? You obviously dont understand how or why they operate. First of all AIM is a non profit, so if you dont like sharon mitchell, etc.take it up with them personally, but the fact that they are affiliated with AIM is not a relavant threat to the industry.
When AIM was founded they were the only outlet of their kind. It was designed especially for adult performers, because the tests they offer are more accurate than, tests traditionally offered elsewhere. Your suggestion, to accept any and all test is ludicrous, and would actually make the situation worse! It would become easier to fake tests, because no one wold recognize them, etc.
Even though I think everyone should go to the same place, performers already have the option, and do use it, to go to other places such as tts for testing.
Please post a link to your cdc report, so we can view it for ourselves, its probably referring to the hiv antibody test, and not the pcr-dna test that AIM uses.
Ive said it before and I'll say it again sex in the porn industry vs sex in the real world is 1000 times safer. Since there has only been 1 case of HIV, its extremely obvious, that the performer, got it from someone OUTSIDE of the industry. All of the performers that this person worked with were tested and ALL of them tested negative. If she got it from a performer, at least 1(the one she got it from) would have came back positive.
This industry does not need any more regulation, it does fine on its own.
