When people who have knowingly engaged in reckless conduct, with no regard for the lives and safety of others, come before a court because their acts have resulted in the death of an innocent person, judges and juries are not usually inclined to view them with any sympathy.

Would you really want that to change? Would we be better served if they get a free pass or just a wrist slap instead?




You have to have a stiff sentence, more as a deterrent to others. How long is he expected to serve? Out in 2 and 5 years supervision? Out in 8? I would guess 6.5.
