Yeah, a dusting of cornmeal on the pizza stone will make it a lot easier to slide your breads out of the oven. When I see the handles on Panzer's pizza stone (no no no no -- it stays in the oven to cool down slowly) it seems to me that he hasn't been apprised of the usefulness of cornmeal. My guess is he takes the stone out in order to prise the bread off the stone.
