IMHO, the board has been "slow" for some time now (compared to what I've read in old threads). Check out the "who's online" section. There's almost always someone reading a crazy thread from back in the day.

One time I found this Conky vs Camera of Death reliquary-type thread with a bunch of links to some hilarious COD threads. Great stuff.




Eh the board has its ebbs and flows, problem seems to be everyone waits for a small handful of posters to create something for them to comment on, instead of bringing something to the table themselves, and when the majority of interesting stuff posted is made by a german single mother of three with a nasty drug problem and a man who is a bipolar, manic depressive who is in the midst of what doctors call a "severe episode" then relying on two unrealiable sources isn't the most realiable thing to do.
