My theory(which I've stated before elsewhere) is that a lot of people started looking at or watching porn when they were too young, so a lot of the thrill of it was it was something they would more than likely get in trouble for if they got caught by Mom or Dad.

When they find that they are able to have as much spank-off material they want without getting in trouble and that most people think watching porn is normal, that thrill is gone for them. This causes the person to turn to porn that they think others will find disgusting, obscene, and/or just plain wrong to bring back that thrill of being caught for them.

And how much more wrong, without being stuff like kiddie porn or real rape and snuff films, can you get than Max Hardcore?
