Not in my area apparently. In fact a gay pride parade is so over the top it is expected to be protested. . So you have a bunch of twinks & freaks brave enough to celebrate being what they are in public in the South. And the Christians want to go out and basically humiliate them if possible.

Not a good use of resources if you ask me.

This will be our city's first gay pride parade. I'd go watch for the lulz but the news will be there and I do not want to be caught on camera in the middle of a fag/christian conflict. I suspect it will be mostly bull dykes participating. It's not a huge stretch to think that fags could get beaten for being gay in these parts so many of them will stay home but the dykes don't give a damn and in general they don't get assaulted.

You just aren't getting into the spirit of it. Go pick up some paper bullseye targets from the shooting range, tape them to T-shirts, and hand then out to the marchers.

I'll post a link to the local coverage of the event when it occurs. It will be funny. I predict less than two dozen participants.
