I think a better Godzilla movie has been grenlighted.

Premise: an old, tired Godzilla has been sleeping until [outside plot premise, socially relevant] then:

[Scene 1] awakens and shakes off sores.
[Scene 2] deals with allergies and lumbers off the ocean bed
[Scene 3] eats submarine; seeks Tokyo!
[scene 4] deals with Tokyo on a personal basis; takes a shit and makes a political statement
[scene 5] takes some damage from a token Japanese air force, and high tails it to guest on Fox "News"
