Well your reading comprehension isn't very good then. As the definition you quote clearly shows, to be terrorism the actions have to be "with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments". Terrorism is violence played to a wider audience with political intent. People can use lethal force to resist government or government sanctioned actions without being terrorists.
