Well you can try and answer it to if your a foreigner...you get AIG bonus points...... and the question is...... who lives at.... 1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW Washington, DC 20500 hint its so easy a cab driver knows how to find it without a map......

And yes it is an actual question on the District of Columbia’s hack test.....imagine someone trying to get a cab license and NOT knowing what that address represents.....
On a lighter note...they say DC has one of the WORST public housing (projects) in the country......
This however is the exception to the rule.

You beat me to it. I am not from New York City but I know that from the show "30 Rock" that its the address for the skyscraper located at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. It's not the best example but you get my gist.
I would expect people to know what is at the address of East Capitol Street, NE and 1st Street based purely on the fact that the answer is in the address.

I've seen people in NY who couldn't tell you what day 9/11 happened.

I know well enough to stay away from SE any time I venture into the city.
Well then you have never been to visit this place that is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places/U.S. National Historic Landmark...its a real nice place..St. Elizabeths Hospital.
