A question arose this morning about my thread moves. Here's an explanation.
The first forum is called "General Porno Talk". It is not just "General" or "Talk". Basically, if a thread isn't about or by the whores, the industry or the business of porn, it gets moved to "World Outside Porn" (or from now on the Cage if it's a knife fight between members). Threads get moved to other areas too if they are a much better fit there than in General Porno Talk.
I try to interpret this very loosely. For example Smartt's post on masturbation was about an activity frequently associated with porn (ahem) and left alone. "Smelly, your number's up!", on the other hand, is by and about non-porn XXXPT people and has nothing to do with porn at all.
Another way to look at it is that I look for an excuse to not move a thread and little is required to leave a thread unmolested. But if it's not about the whores, the industry, or the business of porn in any way, it goes.
If this bugs somebody (or isn't what Those In High Places want) then post here and see if the Almighty agrees.
PS. When there were 4-5 posts a day putting everything in one forum was practical, but there is more traffic these days.
