She probably had the basic cover, as €150 was the sum she mentioned. That's hardly an insignificant sum to many people. If I get ill, the most I have to pay is a standard prescription charge of about €8.
I guess I haven't been clear enough.
The EUR 155.00 is for a whole year. Example: I take medication, so the first EUR 155 spent by the insurer is on my account. I have to pay it to the insurance company, I can do this in monthly installments if necessary.
Once the EUR 155 limit is reached, everything after is free. Even if I break my neck.
How many times do you pay the EUR 8 prescription charge? Every time you get a recipe filled?
