She probably had the basic cover, as €150 was the sum she mentioned. That's hardly an insignificant sum to many people. If I get ill, the most I have to pay is a standard prescription charge of about €8.
Anyway, if the writer really wanted to extol the virtues of the Dutch system, soft drugs and hard sex would be better selling points.
