It's also illegal to kill people, fire artillery, be in possession of automatic weapons, etc. etc. at any other job (law enforcement excepted). The military is not like any other job. Europe was not liberated in WWII because Normandy was invaded by platoons of accountants and widget salesmen.



I can legally take my clothes off on stage in a strip club for all customers to see. If I were to try and do that in Target,I'd be arrested.A lot of things are illegal if you dont have the specific training and/or job requirement for it. Thats not a valid argument for discrimination.

And do you REALLY think there was not ONE gay guy at Normandy?? Or in WWII in general? Really??? They fought and died right next to the straight guys exactly the same. Always have.
THAT is the point. There IS no argument that gays in the military would cause problems. They are already there and always have been. Any problems would come solely from ignorant,small minded bigots. Why should some people be discriminated against because others are moronic a-holes?
