Holly's success at rehab doesnt count, for a slew of reasons, not the least of which Holly is superior in just about every facet to the average, selfish, damaged crack ho, boozing bimbo or pill popping pig that you often find in rehab. Holly is intelligent, a woman of breeding and culture, with a warm and loving heart and a lot to live for, who just happened to like Vodka a wee bit too much and was afraid she was going to end up in someone's bed that she would otherwise not date...Holly didnt hit skid row or kill anyone with her car, her apparent "Bottom" is still way the hell ABOVE most chicks' HIGH POINT. I'd bet my fleet of wheelchairs that Holly would have straightened herself out without rehab; but it's typical to her gracious nature to be humble and give credit to her rehab group.

I just believe, in my experience, the people who WANT to quit and straighten their lives out who are hooked on a substance do so MOSTLY because of themselves and their own inner strength; rehab (as it is conventionally practiced these days) generally, while helping a few people, for the most part just makes addicts into BETTER more efficient ADDICTS. I dont know how many times I have heard people with drug problems say that they learned "A SHITLOAD of new drug sources and techniques" in rehab from other addicts.

Rehab removes too much responsibility from addicts by blaming "THE DISEASE" and a slew of other issues from childhood or whatever....so many whores I am friends with use the ubiquitous "RAPE" card as the reason for their pill popping. They dont take responsibility for themselves or their actions.

Scary Mary Carey has had many chances to clean up, and blows it each time. Why? Because she doesnt WANT to be clean, or she wants a life of easy money and no responsibility, and within that Drugs and booze play a vital role in keeping her in the frame of mind she needs to be so that she may continue to do the degrading shit she does to earn the easy $$$ she needs (and her scumbag boyfriend needs.)
