With good reason. Brian Cashman should be glad I'm not the Royals G.M. I would put him on hold, fly Hal McRae into the office and say "Brian, here is our team's position on this proposal." Then I would send Hal up to the top of the scoreboard in centerfield at Kaufmann Stadium and have him chuck the phone into one of the waterfalls.
