Yeah I just like guns ! No kids enter here so I don't worry about them. There have been a lot of burglaries lately more so out in the county rather than in my little town due to the economy but one can never be too safe IMO. Mainly I just like having a gun in reach always. I once heard having an unloaded gun was like having a car with no gas in it ! And on the Taurus 1911 ? I have one and it's a great gun. Fun to shoot and a great buy ! My next purchase may be a Henry .22 rifle , a Makarov 9x18 pistol, an AK-47 .22 caliber or maybe even another 9 mm pistol of some sort. I have a bunch of shot guns to trade on one of these days. I go to the gun shop every day and the same people are usually there trading and wheeling and dealing. Fun fun fun !
