 Ewww alert: Shirley Jones, best known for her role as Shirley Partridge, mother of a brood of singing kids who drove to gigs in a psychedellic school bus on "The Partridge Family," is contemplating posing nude for Playboy, according to a Page Six report today. Back in 1970 - 74, when the wholesome family sitcom followed "The Brady Bunch" every Friday night on ABC (I know that because at the tender age of 5, I used to kiss the TV screen every time heartthrob David Cassidy -- Jones' real-life stepson -- appeared), some might have considered Jones a MILF. Call me crazy, but the three decades hence might have changed all that, no? Jones is 75 now, and Playboy hasn't exactly come a-knocking: Page Six reports the impetus for the nasty idea comes from her husband and manager, Marty Ingels, who's quoted as saying, "She's still drop-dead gorgeous... I think it would be sensational." To say the least. No word on whether Jones would move into the Playboy Mansion. Without doing any exhaustive research, we think Jones would be the oldest woman ever to bare all for Playboy, ahead of Nancy Sinatra, who did so at 54, and Farrah Fawcett and Joan Collins, who dropped their drawers at age 50. <<SOURCE>>

Playboy has a long history of featuring pictorials of ugly/non-strokeworthy women: Carnie Wilson (after losing 400 lbs), Joey Heatherton (around age 60), Farah Fawcett (way past prime), Nancy Sinatra (around age 55), an OJ Simpson juror (who looked like a monkey), Shannon Doherty etc

Shirley Jones has a very weird place in my heart. When I was a young pre-pubescent lad, I saw her in an musical on TV(not sure, but I think it was "Oklahoma") and got a big schoolboy crush. My father was freaked out that his son wanted to watch a Musical, I didn't appreciate why at the time, and he asked me if I didn't want to watch "the game" instead (don't remember which game was playing).
Anyway, I had a big crush on a young, 20-something Shirley Jones and my father was freaked out. I didn't get it at the time, but we both laughed about it later.
She was hot when she was young, but I haven't seen her in a while.
