Being that its mothersday and all, and the amount of hatred towards women (or as eric likes to put it the weaker sex) Why do you guys hate women?
p.s The monkey is one of the very few here who doesnt hate women, not even borderline women like gypsy.
Was mommy responsible ala ed gein's, or was it the first one to break your heart (rachel/eric) or maybe its the disgusted look in their eye as you try to approach them in a quite spot at your local supermarket. Happy mothersday everyone.

Working on the railroad since I was 20, I had a very low opinion of whores...sorry, women...from the get go. The railroad industry has/had one of the worst divorce rates amongst the working class. Not that I make that kind of money, but we had plenty of guys who did make #80-100k annually, and then their wives got half when they got split b/c he wasn't home enough; or she was screwing the mailman.
My angst towards chicks has little to do with Rachel, although she didn't help. Anxiety towards hooking up with others maybe, but that's just my antisocial personality at work in general.

I have been accused of hating women. By male posters as well as by female posters. I still have no idea where these accusations stem from as not many people have asked me a direct question regarding this.
I don't hate women, not in general and not at XPT in particular. To me, hate is not 'just another emotion'; hate is much more intense (and even more beautiful) than other emotions.
A prerequisite for hate is care/meaning: you can't hate something that you don't care about or that has no meaning for you.
It might be a disappointing discovery for some, but I do not care about a lot of people (on and off XPT). Nor are there many people who say or do things that have meaning for me. Those who do, know.

i need to believe that women are lower even than i am, because it's more comfortable to think about how worthless they are than it is to think about all the things i find unsatisfactory about myself, or how i'm convinced they won't give me attention because of how worthless i am. 
also, i've always had a crush on debra winger, ever since i was little. i don't feel these things are related, but i was just thinking about that, and didn't think it was worth starting a whole new thread. but i have to say, if she were to give me attention, i would treat her right. my parents are divorced, and i've always felt it was completely my father's fault. i've resented him for years. feels good to get all this out there.

I saw some show recently where the topic was "paternity fraud" and child support. There was a panel of talking heads with lawyers and marriage counselors. They said that for one third of all paternity tests, a man who thought he was a kid's father finds out that a bitch duped him. Granted, this is not representative of all society. There had to be some reason to seek a paternity test in the first place. But, they claimed that in approximately 10% of all births, the wrong father is named on the birth certificate.
This is a pretty good reason to hate women.
In many states (including California), a man is financially responsible for ANY kid his wife has during the marriage (even if he is NOT the father). In my opinion, a man who gets fucked over like that would be justified if he resolved things OJ Simpson-style.

There's alot of conditions which could warrant the OJ treatment, Coke.
Even with economic conditions as they are, I have one coworker who is paying out something like $1200 each month for his ONE daughter. With no overtime, he's only making like $40k per year, but the courts are basing his payments on earnings from 2-3 years ago when guys here were working 60+ hours each week. I wouldn't blame him for going postal/OJ, because his wife is spending the excess on worthless shit anyway (not on the kid, how typical), as I understand it and the court refuses to revisit the case for another year?
That California law is pure bullshit. Here in Indiana, thankfully, we don't have common law marriage. So you can live with a whore, fuck her brains out & never marry her forever (kinda, I guess). Granted, I'm no Don Juan, it probably works wonders for the part of society with commitment issues.
