I don't think there need be any finding here as far as mental capacity or sanity or whatever. If you do something like this, you should be humanely removed from society. If cops and shrinks want to examine him, I guess that's up to him, but it should have no bearing on what is done with the guy. Lock him up, care for him in a humane manner, and that's it. Same for repeat pedophiles, serial killers, and Alex Panzer. Life in prison, no parole.

But don't soil our collective hands by torturing prisoners or killing them, or failing to provide minimal things like security and medical aid.

Maybe you can take them to some AA meetings and maybe even a MLK March, then maybe you could take them back to your camper and watch Gag Factor movies together. Show them the love they never had, maybe that will reform them.
