Hollywood hunk BEN AFFLECK is forming a close friendship with American Presidential candidate Senator JOHN KERRY's daughter VANESSA.
The JERSEY GIRL star, who split from his fiancee JENNIFER LOPEZ in January (04), is a staunch Democrat and has been attending a string of fundraisers for Kerry's campaign and has been spotted flirting with the 27-year-o ld HARVARD MEDICAL SCHOOL student.
After Saturday's (01MAY04) WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENTS DINNER, Affleck and Vanessa were seen having a "long, lingering policy'' chat.
American newspaper the WASHINGTON POST reports Vanessa and Affleck are so close, the blonde was comfortable enough to snatch a cigarette out of the actor's hand.
Affleck's spokesperson KEN SUNSHINE denies the pair are romantically involved, saying, "He's helping with the campaign. End of story."
