Do you think AVN is legitimate magazine or just big add, that awards who ever kisses their ass? How about their reviews do think they are earned or bought?

It's bullshit, no doubt. A friend o' mine got fired for bad-mouthing a Mike South video. If the co. advertises in the mag, then you HAVE to give them a good review.

Which I would totally do, by the way, if the price was right. I mean it's only fuckin' porn. But the going rate, last I heard, was $25 a review. AND you have to give the tape/dvd back!

What? if you have to give the dvd back and only get 25$ for a review then that just shows there's no impetus on the reviewers part to really give a damn.... I do it for the love of it, but at least @ Swank I get paid a helluva lot more than that... I wonder why they want the review material back. to sell?

Who the hell reads those reviews anyway? I just like all the slicks (ads) for the new releases and also a few of the articles are informative- but that is one magazine that is a reverse of all others- I read it for the ads and not the content

Hope you don't buy it Cleet or do you just leaf through it on the newsstand?

I used to buy it years ago before being online, what a rip off at the price they charge, then I stopped reading it all together until a couple years ago when I started getting it free from my friend in the video store.
