I will just put it out there that I believe people are scarred on the inside before they do anything to their outsides. I have never felt strongly about anything to the point where I wanted it on my body forever. I just kind of roll with the punches and hope to age gracefully. I'm not nearly as anxious or angry as I was when I was 20.
I am a lot more appreciative of things I have. There are many people out there with little to nothing.
