This issue is complex, but farming is a tough gig on the whole.
Too little rain, busted. Too much rain, busted. Bugs, busted. Hail, busted. Too much grain, low prices. I can only speak for the MidWestern farmers, but on average they have forearms bigger than my thighs and keep most of the world and their livestock fed, which is reportedly a good thing.



My point wasn't to denigrate farmers, or even the big 3 for that matter. I was just being a bit of a dick and pointing out that a lot of Americans seem to need money from the government at times.I'd never lay claim to be a smart guy like Coke, K1ng, Gunker, 2cit etc.
