It sounds like somebody didn’t call somebody.
Newcomer Sierra Skye worked for director Cezar Capone last November in Florida and claims she wasn’t paid. Pulse, the company which distributes Capone’s movies, claims that Skye was issued not only one check which came back because it couldn’t be delivered to the address which was provided, but that she was sent a follow-up check to another address. And that one came back as well.
A company insider says the addresses that Skye was supposed to have provided were no good.
“It came back to our office. She called up and said put a stop to that one and sent it to another address. We did that. That check also came back. We have both the checks that came back. We didn’t hear from her again so where were we supposed to send it?”
According to the insider, Pulse has put out 25 movies and every girl so far, with the exception of Skye it seems, has been paid.
“If she called the guy who booked her she would have seen how easy it is to get a check out of us. Out of all the companies that are around right now, especially the new companies, Cezar Capone is without a doubt in the top 4. Put it this way, we’re not in the habit of holding back talents’ money. She’s welcome to call Cezar Capone any time. This looks like we’re not paying our talent.”
On the other hand Skye, who I’ve talked to on a couple of occasions, doesn’t strike me as some goofball who would come up with a lame story. Skye said she was assured she’d be paid within two weeks on company payroll. According to Skye the address Pulse had for her was the one she provided on her 2057 paperwork.
“I filled out my paperwork and that always asks for your address,” she says.
“That was the same address where I’m living now,” continued Skye who commutes to LA from Florida.
“Ever since I got into porn I’ve been using the same address. I haven’t moved. If I knew it had got sent back I would have made sure it would have come to me. But no one ever contacted me from the company. Not one person.”
When the possibility was raised that the check was sent to an agent who booked the scene and not her, Skye says she never told Pulse to send it to the agent.
Skye raises the question that if the checks were indeed sent back to Pulse they certainly had her phone number to contact her.
“I’ve had that number until three weeks ago when I finally changed it,” she adds.
Skye also claims that she never called the company and told them to put a hold on the check and have it re-sent to another address.
