Yargh! ahhooy me matteys. Yer all being ripped off by people who you think are yer fans, yargh! Seriously, we're all getting fucked, JM, Bradon. I'm not going to give out URLS here but the more of us on it the better. If you are a director/producer and may not know me, or I may not know you, hit up gia, she has my number. Seriously... Remember that scene with belladonna with the bat in the ass? They are fucking us worse than that. Real fans dont do that shit, so pirates reading this, ask youself, why are you fucking us over? You are our fans clearly... Why steal from us? Duke

I realized this long ago.. I have been on top of my stuff pretty good. Brandon isnt, neither is JM. The more eyes on this shit the better. Heck, I would even like to start up something where we can legally speak on each others behalf regarding dmcas. The more the merrier with this shit. Duke

Duke, I have a question.
First a confession. I am guilty of using tube sites(watch, but never upload to them). I have searched out Facial Abuse material on them also. Most of the time I click on links to your stuff, it says the video no longer exist. Sometimes I will get something, only to find the next day it has been pulled down.
Now, the question.
Are you actively searching out your material on these sites and making them pull them down yourself, or are the sites themselves pulling them down out of fear of being charged with obscenity?

Online Checks? Are you talking about individuals scamming tactics to get some free porn, or sites created for the mass theft of content?

While I'm sympathetic, this is a problem that is not going to go away. The industry should have foreseen this and taken steps to stop it. The genie is out of the bottle.

Great, just what I need, "Duke Skywalker" from facial abuse presenting law arguments on my behalf in a court of law.
Sorry, but I think I'd chose the shitty lawyer-ing of Jeff Douglas or even Pornlaw over that.

If I'm not worried about obscenity, why would some stupid tube site hosted in the netherlands be? I have a paid service that serches for my stuff. Thanks for searching for my stuff though. Thumbs up! Duke

FYI tube sites operate under the guise that they have publically uploaded content. It's all inhouse. Trust me. Thats why there just always happens to be the good stuff on alot of tubes. It's the staff of the tube site. It isn't some guy who want's to share his stash.

I misread your question, and I apologize. Of course I know pirating has been around for ages and my stuff has been getting pillaged for years. I mean a way to tell it's good is to see how many butt nuts want it. But what I didn't know was how many pirates hang out here.. like HERE. That, I just found out recently. The bug up my ass came from finding out I am getting ripped off by my own fans. That hurts quite a bit. We're talking about guys who I have corresponded with via email, or social networking, right there, ripping my stuff. That's why I wanted to let people producing this stuff to hook up with the right people. More hands on deck means less piracy. That's my goal. Sorry if it sounds a little ambitious, but if I wanted any american bukkake, or throat gaggers, or evil, anabolic etc, I can get it in 3 mins or less. This is one issue everyone in the industry agrees about. I'm just saying lets stop talking and start doing. Duke

Yea, a tough economy, and too many people still living with mommy and daddy. I understand that money is tight, but people need to really look at who they are hurting. Especially a site like mine that doesn't hit your card 6 times. Duke

Like a previous poster said, people are habitually cheap these days, moreso in the age of technology. Sure, even shopping at Best Buy is reprehensible to some people, but buying online from BestBuy.com is worse, because you're then supporting a corporation with far less overhead because they don't depend on a physical store near you to pay people (i.e. jobs).

soon there will be fewer and fewer brick and mortar...sears tried it a LONG time ago in two horse towns when they still had a print catalog division. It did well since there was NO internet....
perfect example of buy online shit that they dont carry in stores is walmarts site to store....
once they go totally automated with checkouts....its going to be killed or be killed to get the coveted title of greeter at the front door.

Duke, I'm curious about how piracy and XPT surfers are related. Sure, we know there are pirates here, it's a message board on the internet. What I am wondering about is if your monitoring company has seen a rise in the availability of the content of your sites since you started posting here?

Would you say all of them are in house? I've noticed (sorry I HAVE visited them) a site might have full clip after full clip, but then will feature a ton of brief (but well edited) clips of a big site. It's pretty obvious that that company is a least in bed with them.
Again, maybe I wouldn't have looked if it weren't so goddamn easy. I first found a bunch of them while reading an article about 'em on LiB. He named the sites and had links to all of them. Duh....

First porn i saw was a dubbed version of a randy west piece of poo on vhs. This will never go away and i listen to anyone complaining about this type of free access to clips lik ei listen to Lars from Metallica. Time to face facts, if i like something whether it be music, movies...any media i will purchase it to own even if i have sampled, jerked off to it previously. Pirating is the basis of exposure. Now mom and pop deals i.e. Brandon and the lot sound like hypocrites with no business sense when you litter the cyberworld with site specific, 35 sec clips by the thousands of "free" content. To lure fiends to your site, then when the content is sold then duplicated in a free manner you shit a gold brick. keeping in mind im not condoning revenue generated fuckbags who steal and sell. However lumping in the "mixtape" culture of media into the pirates side, which is what you and the major studios do. Is a fucking laugh. Figure out a fair and easy to execute solution or shut the fuck up and make a better product people feel inclined to not felch..

If more studios would just take the time to watch out for their stuff, you could remove almost all the good quality movies from 95% of the piracy sites.
seriously, how hard is it to put your stuff on google-alerts? I have my clients names on google alert to see where my press releases get posted and what else pops up and I see a lot of torrent stuff stuff pop up....

Google Alerts won't do an adequate job. But that's not to say that it isn't easy as fuck to monitor for your content.
Bookmark the top 20 or so tubes, do a search once a week for your top keywords/titles. Send corresponding takedown requests. Every tube site complies with DMCA notices. Some will even create an account for you that gives YOU the ability to delete your content without waiting for them to do it.
Bookmark the top torrents. Do a search once a week for your top keywords, or just bust out your title list and search title by title. Torrent sites market your movies the same way you do, by studio name, performer, title, etc. It doesn't do them a lot of good to label a torrent "teen anal", no one will spend the time downloading 1.36GB of a generic named torrent, but they will if it says "Brandon Iron's Perverted Planet". Identify your stuff, send corresponding takedown requests. Every top torrent site except Pirate Bay responds to DMCA notices. Hell, I just got off the phone with the admin for IsoHunt.com, he's a nice guy and responds to DMCAs within a few hours.
Become a member of the most trafficked rapidshare forums. Once a week do a search for all your top keywords. Gather urls and send corresponding notices to Rapidshare/Depositfiles, etc. NOT TO THE FORUM, but instead to where the files are hosted. Chances are those same links are spread out over 5-10 different forums. Send your DMCAs to the filehosting sites and you'll knock out the links across the board. Even if you just monitor say the 10 most trafficked sites you'll probably gather most of your stuff that's being traded on the forums since those uploaders need LOTS of people to download their uploads to keep their premium accounts intact.
This is how I got over 6500 files removed. Pretty simple. Just takes some time and effort, two things most people don't want to put in. I've still got some torrent sites to check but I've just about completely removed our stuff from the piracy sites.

That's because, with the exception of a small percentage, the majority of this country is fucking lazy.

This just shows what a tool you are Steven. You don't have to be a lawyer to send DMCAs. Duke obviously just means that studios working together to authorize others to act on their behalf.

The breif clip is either an affiliate, or the company itself. You really only get your stuff posted after you had run ins with them 10-15 times and basically said "look, i will upload 1-3 minute clips, and anything that contains said content not uploaded from this account is infringed upon material." Sure we do business with tubes. But I assure you, a 35 minute clip is stolen.

I had some guy take one of my quotes from this board and actually posted it on one of the pirate boards. No doubt he surfs this board. But checking a board once a week? try every 15 minutes.. These guys are either jobless, still living with mommy, or unfortunatley handicapped and in a wheel chair. No normal person has that much time, let alone to reup a movie that will just be taken down again. Do you think that these guys are getting laid or have a real job? hell no.. They spend ALL DAY doing this.. That's why you need someone on them ALL DAY. DM me and lets combine our efforts. I have the low on 3/4 these guys.

I've never heard of this. It still goes back to the end result. I've sent DMCA notices. I've e-mailed webmasters, I visit tube sites. The same sites keep putting up the same content that's not theirs.
Also, many tube sites disguise descriptions as "Cocksucking blonde." You would not know the scene is yours unless you opened your eyes and saw the watermark.
You need someone on it full time bro. you will never make a dent in it doing it yourself. Duke

I might as well ask this now, are pay sites like pornstar XS & VideosZ legal? I really really hope so.
Also, for those of you with pay sites it REALLY helps when we can preview and see exactly what we get. I'm not asking for video clips, the sites I listed show you what you can Dl with plenty of screenshots. Also MAJOR is a comprehensive search and their content is tagged. Tags are links you can click such as fetish genre, studio, director, etc. Those two sites also have this. Finally, the content is download to own with no DRM and in AVI format. I have those VOD sites that constantly come up on search. They're such a ripoff!
I go to jerkoffzone.com on an almost weekly basis and hover the cursor over the join button but not seeing what I'm getting is a major deterrent for me to sign up. Though I'd probably sign up for a lifetime membership if you posted less edited or uncut versions of our favorite scenes for download.
Jim Powers, you're still my favorite porn director but that website could use some work. I'm sorry.

seriously, how hard is it to put your stuff on google-alerts?
You need to get an Intern or something to do that for you; sounds like a lot of work.

You never answered the question Nate...are you a sex offender or not? Its pretty simple. Should I just assume you refusing to answer is a "Yes?" Sorry, but pleading no contest 11 fucking times then fighting the charge? That should be enough to demonstrate you're a big fucking idiot when maybe say, after the third time, you didn't consider the consequences or fighting it then. And while you were getting arrested and sitting in jail in po-dunk fucking Texas (on Max Hardcore's behalf of all people) for your minimum-wage job, I was in Sacramento at the Capitol working on two different pieces of media-protection legislation, meeting with numerous lawmakers, including a piece to protect college students like me from disciplinary action from administrators on public campuses when producing porn in their dorm. A law I'm sure Shane's World is happy to exploit (as long as its in California, no more sending rapists across state lines) So don't fucking tell me I haven't done a thing to protect this business. Its piece of shit losers like you and your rapist employing company that are responsible for much of the heat brought upon this business in the first place. And still waiting on the names of those XPT Pirates Duke.

Steven, you are a tool of epic proportions.
Since you seem to read all my articles, I'm surprised that you don't know the answer yourself. I'm sure this will come as a great disappointment to you, but I am not a sex offender. Pandering Obscenity is not a crime that requires you become a registered sex offender. (Though attempts have been made to the contrary, in Ohio most recently). Aren't you a wannabe lawyer? I'd think you'd know that already.
My legal troubles years ago as a (much better than minimum wage) porn clerk is just a small example of a problem that is happening all across our country (which does still include Texas as of this writing), where porn clerks are going to jail and getting no recognition for it.
But, please explain to me how "pieces of shit" like me are responsible for "much of the heat brought upon this business in the first place". I'm flattered that you would think I have that much pull.

Don't flatter yourself too much Nate, the only shit I've ever read of yours was the two posts on LukeisBack and whatever you post here. I've been very critical of Free Speech Coalition for not providing more legal assistance to porn clerks and "mom and pop" porn shops. Its one of the reasons I don't contribute to them any more. Adult film studio hosts screenings on college campuses
Quote:
Ruth said that the film has been shown on several campuses around the country without the use of any public or university money, with all costs covered by admission fees. This doesn’t mollify Assemblyman Charles Calderon, D-Whittier.
“It’s a marketing ploy, tapping into a ready-made market, one that’s highly susceptible,” Calderon said.
Calderon said it’s hardly the first time the industry has promoted on college campuses. He cited a trend of studios producing films by arranging “raucous parties” where performers are filmed in front of students “who are drinking the whole time” while they watch.
Calderon is known for having carried multiple bills that would have taxed the adult industry to cover what he says are the negative impacts caused by the industry. The state, he said, often picks up the tap for treating STDs, unwanted pregnancies and psychological damage caused on porn sets.
He said he is considering a new bill to enforce standard workplace protections on adult film studios. This could include everything from forcing them to comply with Cal-OSHA to providing health care and unemployment benefits. He also wants enforceable contracts that would provide for legal action if directors try to force actresses or actors to do anything they didn’t agree to in writing beforehand.
When was Shane's World's last "College Invasion?" Years ago? It certainly seems fresh on Calderon's mind: that quote's from TWO FUCKING WEEKS AGO. I didn't hear Calderon referencing my college porn exploits, hes pointing to YOUR employer.
Considering since the last time Shelley Lubben testified in front of the California State Senate, your former contract director Jack Venice was sentenced to a LIFE IN PRISON sentence for his whole college rape adventure. Shelley's brought his name up numerous times before in her feuds with LA Direct Models and Derek Hay; what the fuck makes you think she won't next time?
Or, Shane's World even continues to promote that sorry piece of human garbage on http://frathousefilms.com/ complete with a link to buy the latest volumes. Maybe redirecting the domain and taking the site down would be a good legal move to avoid connections with a convicted rapist, no?
All this industry bullshit adds up and will reach a boiling point. Shane's World has applied more than its fair share of pressure; and that will fucks things up for everyone.
