How about explaining the OJ is innocent phenomenon. Even if blacks thought cops fucked up or lied about certain shit, that doesn't make OJ innocent. At the time of the trial, almost every black person around was insisting he was absolutely innocent. Many were wearing "don't squeeze the juice" t-shirts. Did they really believe that crap? Was the entire race just doing it to piss off whitey?
If you have time, also explain:
-how could so many blacks (even educated ones) have believed that the KKK owned the Snapple Beverage Co because there was a "K" on the label? The KKK is a social group for marginalized hicks. How would they come to own a multi-national corporation?
-how could so many blacks (even educated ones) believe the US government invented AIDS in a lab to get rid of blacks? Racism exists. So what. Does that make this plausible?
