Issue - He told whatever lie he needed to in order to get elected. He's an empty suit.
Issue - Most of his supporters didn't care what he said or whether he meant it. They supported him due to the perceived self-interest of their sub-group, rather than based on what's best for the country as a whole. The self-interested Obama coalition: blacks for Obama, queers for Obama, union loafers for Obama, open borders Spics for Obama, welfare dependents for Obama, farmers who want ethanol mandates for Obama ETC ETC).
