Considering jews as part of a race doesn't really fly very far and has historic predecessors of an unpleasant nature. And paranoia can become confusing. The constitution isn't worth much when most people seem to think it's about the right to tell people that they can fuck off (free speech) and shoot them down should they choose to oppose them (the right to bear firearms). It isn't about equality too much either, as Ice-T noted somewhere, pointing out the hypocrisy to say people are equal while at the same time it's OK to own slaves. On TV and in a huge chunk of films today language is censored or not even spoken out to prevent censorship. There doesn't have to be a ticket generator for "foul language" to see repression here.
