Ha! No, us liberals don't mind doing our fair share.

Guess it was easy for the selfish to organize tax protest parties. Pitiful how so many people want to hoard everything for themselves, and let larger society just rot away.

I want good Government services, parks and forests, I want my friends who are disabled or out of work to get help. I want young people to get help with tuition, I want good roads and bridges, and art and science. I want cutting edge research applied to military hardware so we can fight with less casualties. I want policemen and firemen who are well paid and not overworked. And I want the federal government to step in and make affordable health care available for all Americans.

I will gladly do my part to make this a better country. I've been fortunate enough to make a decent living, I want to share enough to live in a decent society.
