The worst thing about Giuliani cleaning up Times Square was when they finally closed the perpetual Green Door / Deep Throat double feature.

Growing up in Manhattan, most of the kids I knew (boys and girls) counted the days until we were old enough to finally get in there. After I was an adult, out of town friends would demand that I take them to see it. I must have sat in that sticky, dank theater a dozen times. Back when you could still smoke in the theater too!

But it never got old. Cheesy and dated, sure, but always enjoyable
