I doubt anybody would say you should spend time in jail for sex (unless you're really, really ugly). But the lack of pity stems from the fact that you knew before you started what the repercussions were if you got caught.

As that great philosopher Baretta once said, "Don't do the crime if you can't do the time."

Get another public defender. There are some lawyers on here that can give better advice than me though.
