Every true pervert comes to a point when he spends way too much time boning his craft when he should be doing more productive things. Periods of inactivity or unemployment. Depression or lonliness, maybe. Whatever the cause, things tend to work themselves out with time and maturity. There's way too much emphasis placed porn addiction.

I worked for MTV for 3 years an yes its mostly staged..a lot of it is not as "real" as its made to be and mtv has some amazing editors..when I heard this was being shot I though they could have chosen a better girl but after the editing it made Jayden look like a fucking idiot. I really doubt her "mainstream" career is going to take off now...As for the guys addicted to porn, i mean good for them, people like them keep this biz flowing...

I would say that I was addicted to watching porn, I also take drugs so the two go hand in hand. I also am quite obsessive about things that I like, but I know other people who cant seem to not watch porn.
With me, I dont seem to become aroused by it these days. I look for a more mental stimulation in porn. I dont even wank my cock off to it these days. but I watch it for an unatural percentage of my time.
I blame Max Hardcore...

This is kind of stupid Of MTV. Aren't we all addicted to porn? Porn generates more money than all of professional sports in the US COMBINED! Dumb asses, the producers just had to go to any neighbors home to find any idiot. Those fucking idiots should have just done a show on themselves! Isn't it hypocritical that MTV do a documentary on porn addiction when they show the crap they show?

It was about 3 years ago that I read this article. Also go to ABC 20/20 and look for a related story. They did the story on the Mormons and the Marriot and all the porn they sell on their hotel channels.
So anyone that tells you they don't watch porn is probably lying!

That number has become an unexamined truism that is thrown around whenever mainstream media writes about porn but it is BS invented by the anti-pornography movement of the 80s. Dig far back enough and you'll find the number has nothing to support it, it's a complete fiction.
It came out of the anti-porn movement's attempt to make porn big and scary but since then losers like AVN have helped keep the myth alive.
Years ago, when DVD sales were booming, there was a Salon article on Evil Angel that found they made $7 million a year and Stagliano took home $1 million of that. Sound like a industry making more money than professional sports to you?
I'd guess that the inflated numbers try to take into consideration the profits of strip clubs, that's where the real money is probably made, but 'porn' itself is not making anywhere near what is claimed.
The vast majority of cable profits go directly into the pockets of the cable companies and hotels, not the porn companies. The internet is often considered a source of revenue in these estimates as well but these days I'm sure the industry is losing way more via the internet than it is making.
Why do you think whore's are crying and whining everywhere about not being able to find work right now?

I've heard the same stories about how big porn is--in financial terms. I never thought it was ever intended to be limited to the video producers in California. I always just assumed that they were talking about ANYTHING classified as pornography by the conservative right wingers including Playboy, Penthouse, all other magazines hardcore or softcore, The Bunny Ranch, The Spearment Rhino, all other clubs from bikini dancers, to topless clubs, to whorehouses, all websites that show any sort of pornography hardcore or not, and all types of video at home, on cable, or in hotels or x-rated movie theaters.
I suspect that if you look at it with this broader definition, it would seem like a more plausable claim. I would also bet that for every dollar spent on tickets to live sporting events and pay per view sporting events, that there are more people spending a buck on porn if you describe it in broader terms than just DVD's or VHS tapes for home use.

The links here and here show that Forbes magazine found the revenue claims for pornography have been exaggerated, and it doesn't exceed the revenue of professional sports.

If I stay up watching Porn for 4 days and nights and pass out with Nick Manning, Shouting "GET IT REAMED!!!" then wake up to Nick Manning Shouting "SUCK IT BITCH!!!! SUCK MY COCK!!!" on a looping DVD, 8 Hours later, Then continue watching porn whilst eating my breakfast cereal in bed before onther 3 days and night of filth, I would at least consider this a bit of a problem to say the least.
Or is this normal?
