Any music obsessor like myself is probably well aware of the Rateyourmusic site. Being someone who is freakishly ocd about everything they're into, I very much want to see the porn film equivalent to that site.

Basically somewhere where you can create a user profile, sift through enormous amounts of porn data, add titles to your collection, tag them, rate them, review them, recieve recommendations... just like RYM works. Even though a "movie" division of RYM is currently in the works, and "pornographic" happens to show up on the genre queues... I have my doubts about their ability to really develop a comprehensive database in porn, the way they have in music this far.

So you might be thinking as I am... IAFD? They really need to consider this sort of idea. Obviously, they're the IMDB of porn, they should take a cue from these other sites and get on this. To my knowlegde there aren't any sites out there like this for porn yet, but damnit I want one!

Thoughts? Ideas? Comments? Suggestions?

My suggestion is that if you think this would be a good idea jump on it and do it yourself. Less talk, more rock.

Just so you know, whining that "someone should start a site that caters to my interests" sounds fucking stupid. You're sitting in front of a computer which is pretty much the only resource you'll need to get this idea rolling.

Someone should do something about everything. That's what I think...

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure, in regards to IAFD that they aren't interested in doing what you suggest or they would have already. You can search his posts, I'm pretty sure Eric explained at one point that IAFD was just that, a database. And that is all it is intended to be.
