In mainstream people actually place ads for casting. This doesnt usually happen in adult. The UCLA study got most of its evidence and information from open casting ads stating the requirements for the role.

The problem with doing a study in adult is that the production companies and agents would have to admit that they will not hire black women. Its a smaller community and the study would be used to sue the companies that just admitted they will not hire blacks. No one is that stupid -- usually.
