Actually Biden has been hard on drugs, at least for a Democrat.

But she's 27 - old enough to screw up her own life. Palin's kid is of an age where we expect parents to watch their kids, teach them, and exert some control. When Palin's kid gets in trouble at that age you ask in a pretty pointy way "Where was mom?"

But when the kid is 27 that's long after the parent has had any day-to-day supervision. Maybe dad should have done more when raising her, but what she does at 27 is mostly her fault, not much his.
