Shocking that the NY Post would run such a story.  They are trying to get even for Bristol Palin. I'm sure some rich anonymous Republican will buy the video, give it to Fox News and they'll run with it feigning outrage. So do those same people that thought the Bush daughters were off limits feel the same way about Biden's daughter? Somehow I doubt it.

I watched a story about it on the (Fox) news channel yesterday. My point was, Bristol Palin never comitted any crime whatsoever and yet she's still a big news story 5 months after the election. I didn't even know Joe Biden had a daughter (let alone one with a coke problem) until yesterday. And regardless of how big a news story this turns out to be, I doubt it will get anywhere near as much press as Bristol Palin having a baby.

MSNBC gets a deservedly bad rap for being liberal. CNN is the most fair of all 3. Fox is just so blatantly conservative that it's funny they have the slogan fair and balanced. Shepard Smith is fair. Cavoto, Bair, Kelly, O'Reilly, Hannity, Beck, Hume, and the morning show are all biased to the right. Now that Colmes is gone there is not a single left leaning voice on staff there. I like when they bring in the "Fox all stars" and they have a conservative host ask questions to 2 conservatives and 1 moderate liberal and call it balanced.
On MSNBC, Olberman, Maddow and Matthews are biased to the left. David Shuster is fair. Joe Scarborough is right leaning. I can't remember the name of their mid morning guy but he leans left. To say they don't get a bad rap for their leaning is kind of a joke. You hear it every single day on the radio, internet and Fox News.
CNN, Blitzer, King, Cooper, Brown are all pretty fair. Dobbs leans right and Sanchez leans left.

It's a tradition for black women of certain generations (like my grandmother) and not necessarily modern women like Michelle Obama.

By the way, the relevance of Bristol Palin's pregnancy was that the her mother and their political allies actively militated against a pregnant woman's right to choose to terminate her pregnancy. An unexpected teen pregnancy shone a bright light on that. The way the family dealt with the issue at the time turned the issue into a positive for many prospective voters (ie. "We are using this teachable moment to demonstrate our resolve on right to life issues"). Say what you want, the saga of Bristol Palin was a huge embarassment that was turned into a win for the Republican base. The correlation would be if Biden had campaigned on a platform that called for increases to mandatory minimum drug sentencing for possession. If he did (or if he ever did - haven't got a clue) then it is fair game to see if he would practice what he preaches. Anything else is just gossip. I have no problem with gossip, but don't pretend it's anything more than that.

Current tallies show 2,708 Bristol Palin stories and 203 for Ashley Biden. That's an increase of 128 for Palin and 137 for Biden. So the Ashley Biden story is still barely getting more news coverage than Bristol Palin, even though it's fresh news. And still no mention whatsoever on any of the big mainstream news sites. This actually reminds me of how the media covered up for John Edwards right up until the day he admitted his affair.

Any kooky nutball (like yourself) could put up a comment about Bristol Palin on their website and it'll show up in your results. What does this prove, genius? I was talking about a comparison of the number of actual news articles and how Bristol Palin is still as big a news story as Ashley Biden will apparently ever be, even in the midst of a drug scandal. I gave you statistics for the past month as well as the current volume of daily hits, both proving my point. But go ahead and ignore all of that.
