In real life, Audrey is demure and quietly smart. Otto and her have a unique relationship, but still play the traditional husband/wife roles like in the 1950s that people aren't used to seeing today. My parents were like this. I saw 9-5, and Audrey was doing what my mom sometimes did -play dumb to avoid sweating the small stuff.
