Don't make any moves until you talk to the province about the issue, and determine what your rights actually are. Call the Ontario Housing Tribunal board. You have rights, and complaining about excessive noise from neighbors isn't grounds for eviction or terminating a lease.
Most landlords will shit their pants as soon as they hear you are going to press forward with your rights, or request an investigation. Do not cave in just yet, until you talk to someone who is informed, and learn what the facts are.

You can call the Landlord and Tenant Board at 1-888-332-3234 from outside Toronto or 416-645-8080 from within the GTA calling area. Recorded information is available 24 hours a day. Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) are available to provide information from Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (except holidays). You can also visit any Landlord and Tenant Board office in Ontario to talk to a CSR in person.
