I'm making an effort to understand my neighbors who have twins who scream/cry constantly. I find the sounds of their kids abrasive but the parents seem not to notice it and have no sympathy towards my irritation with their kids. Do parents really not feel bothered by the sounds of their own kids? I have this awful feeling that I have been dealing with my neighbors in a way that lacks empathy but at the same time they are not paying me to be their baby monitor. _________________________

Sweetie on the other hand gets visibly frustrated and brain starts misfiring with baby crying. Do your neighbors a favor, and bring over some booze now and again. Passing out is the only thing that really deadens the noise.

Distractions. and if all that doesnt fix it...a cover over the birds puts them in a little quiet timeout. And locking hte cats in my front room where they can bitch at each other all they want with nobody else hearing it. Kids don't just appear, they are a choice. Unwanted kids can be aborted or adopted (this second option might pose a problem for black children so pick option 1). I have fathered kids before and we did the responsible thing and had the bastards killed. I am still waiting for an argument against my position. Having a huge family makes sense if you own a farm, not if you are renting a tiny apartment in a densely populated city. _________________________
