I posted on another board that I am against Obama on the Veterans' Health Care private insurance issue. The Veterans service organizations are going back to meet with the administration Thursday, hopefully they will resolve this. Obama said they need to come back with a proposal that will find the $540 million somewhere else. Bullshit.

I don't think Obama will get anything through the Congress with this in it. In the article I quoted, at least one Congressman said he would vote against the entire budget if this was in it.

The American Legion is not alone here, several other organizations were at the meeting and all opposed Obama. This seems to be the kind of thing where public sentiment would overwhelm the administration.

I'm anxious to see what happens Thursday.
