its probably just symptomatic of the shortage of worthy antagonists. Too many Joe Pesci's circa Home Alone slippin on banana peels, not enough Daniel Day Lewis's circa There Will be Blood. plus half assed fights between people that don't actually hate each other don't really work anymore.

take Hyde for example. he was one of the few bad guys with some semblance of a brain- miswired at birth as it may have been. he once mentioned admiring an adversary that had the ability to broadside him in a fight simply by making a good point. other than that one, he rarely made any himself, but that's another story.

i've tried baiting some porn people onto here (as have others), but apparently the place is so infamous now that they don't dare set foot. there's another demo of antagonists that burn out as quickly as they flare up (Alpha Bitch, morning, etc.) and don't stay around long enough for target practice. the fish barrel probably just needs time to restock.
